The beginning of the era of non-woven materials is considered to be the 1930s. The first samples were created in Europe. These were fabrics of viscose fibers held together by chemical bonds. Several were later created in other ways with alternate raw materials and types of bonding.

Nonwoven fabrics are made from high quality synthetic polypropylene fibers that are protected by a special UV stabiliser. Incidentally the quality of non-woven covering material depends on the quality of the UV stabilizer.

The material is intended to cover vineyards, plantations, orchards and greenhouses. Specifically used to improve product quality and to maintain a balanced temperature.
